Sanaullah Khan — Reclaiming Purpose Through Mentorship

Sanaullah, a 32-year-old from Bannu, lives with a physical disability due to polio in both legs. A devoted father of two daughters, he holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and began his career with the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) in 2018. After his contract ended, Sanaullah struggled to find new opportunities, until he joined the RISEE mentorship program. Over three months, he received guidance on job searching, networking, and refining his CV to match market demands.

Hira Sabir — From Sewing Skills to National Sports Stage

Hira Sabir, a young woman with a disability from Baldia Town, Karachi, joined the RISEE Project with a passion to grow, and ended up becoming an inspiration. Enrolled in the CHIP-supported Shumaila Vocational Institute, she quickly mastered tailoring and began earning an income, contributing to her household.
But her journey didn’t stop there. Motivated and encouraged, Hira discovered a love for sports and trained in archery. Within six months, she qualified for the Sindh Games and is now proudly representing Sindh Province in the National Games 2025.

Reema Azeem — From Uncertainty to Empowerment

Reema, a 22-year-old from Karachi, developed a physical disability at the age of one. Facing financial hardship and raising three children, she remained determined to build a better future. Identified by a local activist, Reema enrolled in a tailoring course under the RISEE initiative. With new skills and a starter toolkit, she began sewing at home, then secured a full-time job in the textile industry, earning PKR 40,000/month. “I now feel independent, respected, and proud to support my family.”

Nazakat Bibi — From Struggle to Strength

Nazakat, a 34-year-old woman with a physical disability, lives in Karachi with her husband and three children. With her husband earning a daily wage and no stable income, the family often struggled to meet even basic needs. Eager to help but lacking formal education or employable skills, Nazakat enrolled in a stitching course at Shumaila Vocational Center through the RISEE project. She received comprehensive support, tuition coverage, travel allowance, and raw materials, followed by a sewing machine to launch her home-based tailoring business.

Syed Muhammad Fasih Haider — From Quiet Professional to Confident Service Leader

Fasih, a young professional from Dera Ismail Khan, had solid healthcare experience, but lacked confidence in communication and customer handling. Supporting a local medical store, he needed more than knowledge: he needed connection. Through the RISE/E mentorship program, Fasih received practical training in marketing, digital tools, and customer service. With daily practice and mentor support, he transformed how he engaged with clients. “I knew the work—but mentorship taught me how to connect with people.”

Jalal Khan: From Potential to Global GBV Expert

Jalal Khan, a person with physical disability, joined the RISEE mentorship program with strong experience in training and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) work, but sought global-level mastery.
Through one-on-one mentorship, Jalal refined his goals, filled skill gaps, and transformed his direction with focused guidance and consistent practice.

Abdul Wahab — From Uncertainty to Digital Voice

Born visually impaired, Abdul Wahab from Peshawar faced early doubts about his future. With family and teacher support, he excelled in academics and discovered his gift for Naat recitation—appearing on national TV and winning accolades.
In 2025, he joined the RISE/E mentorship program by CHIP. There, he gained digital literacy, social media skills, and content creation training that unlocked a new world of opportunity.
